Dalangtan 001 38°13’39.48"N, 91°43’47.52"E Qinghai, China Find: Sept. 01, 2021 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6) History: (Ziyao Wang) Discovered by Binghan Liu and Tao Yang in the Qinghai desert on Sept. 01, 2021. Physical characteristics: (Ziyao Wang) 10 gray-brown stones without fusion crust and a total weight of 21 g. Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) brown stainted recrystallized matrix with recognizable chondrules (0.4-2, av. 0.8 mm) and few metallic specks. Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.68 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6, W2). Specimens: 4.2 g on deposit at Kiel, main mass with the finders, and 7 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
