Writeup from MB 110:

Northeast Africa 035 (NEA 035)

Chad

Purchased: 2019

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H5)

History: The 1.5 kg mass was found, presumably in 2019, by gold hunters near Miski in Tibesti and purchased by Youssouf Ougga Ali Khadir who brought it to MNHNP in July 2019. He mentioned other meteorites which he had also purchased but apparently found by other people over a large area and which thus likely bear no relation to it.

Physical characteristics: Physical: A fusion crusted individual, 12 cm in its longest dimension
