Writeup from MB 111:

Grove Mountains 150030 (GRV 150030)        72°59’47"S, 75°12’44"E

Antarctica

Find: 2016 Jan 23

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H3)

Petrography: The section shows a closely packed mass of chondrules (0.1-3 mm diameter) and irregular crystalline aggregates with interstitial metal/sulfide and a relatively small amount of matrix. A considerable variety of chondrules is present, many barred olivine; other types include cryptocrystalline chondrules, as well as a few radial olivine chondrules. The mean composition of the olivine and the amount of nickel-iron suggest H group, so the meteorite is classified as H3.

Specimens: The main mass and one thin section are on deposit at PRIC.
