Northwest Africa 14767 (NWA 14767)

Morocco

Purchased: 2021.4.8

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H4)

Petrography: The meteorite is composed of sized 0.1-1.6 mm (mean=0.457±0.243 mm) chondrules set in the matrix. Its mineralogy consist of olivine, pyroxene, plagioclase (with grain size 2 μm) and Fe,Ni metal and rare sulfides. Shock melt vein distribute in the rock and cut through the mineral.
