Classification: HED achondrite (Eucrite, brecciated)

History: Found in Morocco on July 5, 2021

Petrography: (K. Metzler, IfP) Fine-grained achondritic breccia, consisting of eucritic lithic clasts with ophitic textures and monomineralic fragments (pyroxene, plagioclase) set in a recrystallized fine-grained clastic matrix of related debris. Most pyroxenes exhibit augite exsolution lamellae. Accessories are troilite, ilmenite, and a silica polymorph

Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: Low-Ca pyroxene (host): Fs51.2±0.5Wo2.6±0.4 (Fs50.5-52.2Wo2.2-3.3); mean Fe/Mn (at.): 32.1; n=10. Ca-rich pyroxene (exsolution lamellae) Fs22.1±0.5Wo41.1±0.4 (Fs21.3-22.9Wo40.3-41.7); n=10. Plagioclase An89.3±1.5Or0.2±0.3 (An87.4-91.2Or0.0-0.8); n=7
