Tindouf, Algeria

Purchased: 2022 July

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL6)

History: The meteorite was found April 2022 in western Algeria close to the iron mine of Gâra Djebilet.

Physical characteristics: Light grayish, very fragile specimen partly covered with fusion crust.

Petrography: The plagioclase grain size is about 70 μm.
