Physical characteristics: Ten grayish to slightly greenish fragments without fusion crust. Petrography: The meteorite displays a dark grayish to brownish interior and is composed of separated and well-defined chondrules (apparent mean diameter about 800 µm) and few fine-grained CAIs (up to 1 mm) set in a fine-grained ferroan matrix dominated by Ni-bearing olivine. Less abundant phases include low-Ca pyroxene, Ca-pyroxene, intermediate plagioclase, and minor FeS. Cr-rich magnetite is abundant; metal was not detected. The meteorite is strongly weathered with and contains abundant secondary calcite. Geochemistry: olivine: Fa26.1±12.3 (Fa1.2-38.0, FeO/MnO=90±9; NiO: 0.03-0.63 wt%, n=29); low-Ca pyroxene: Fs7.5±5.9Wo1.5±0.8 (Fs0.9-16.6Wo0.9-3.1, n=24); Ca-pyroxene: Fs1.7±1.1Wo36.4±2.1 (Fs1.0-5.7Wo31.8-38.0, n=17); feldspar: An5.7-25.3Ab73.4-92.5Or1.1-2.3, n=12; magnetite contains 1.15±0.06 wt% TiO2 and 2.8±0.2 wt% Cr2O3, n=3 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
