Northwest Africa 15520 (NWA 15520) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: 2022 Aug Classification: Pallasite History: Purchased by Shun-Chung Yang in August 2022 from a dealer in Laayoune, Morocco. Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and P. Carpenter, WUSL) Coarse grained aggegate of predominantly olivine and metal (both kamacite and taenite) with accessory schreibersite and merrillite. Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa12.3-12.8, FeO/MnO = 44-55, N = 4). Classification: Pallasite. Specimens: 7.1 g in the form of a polished endcut at UWB; remainder with Mr. S.-C.
