Calama 284 22°29.54’S, 68°45.10’W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 23 Nov 2022 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3) Petrography: The meteorite mainly is composed of chondrules and the minor chondrule fragments and fine-grained matrix. The chondrules are well outlined and often are surrounded by Fe,Ni metal-troilite rims. Average chondrule diameter is 700±355 µm (N=77). The chondrules are of PO, POP, RP, granular olivine-pyroxene and granular olivine types. Compound and flattened chondrules were observed. The chondrule mesostasis is isotropic glass. Olivine has undulatory extinction and irregular fractures.
