Calama 374 22°28.84’S, 68°44.91’W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 20 Nov 2022 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H3) Petrography: The meteorite is composed of well lineated chondrules, chondrule and mineral fragments and fine-grained clastic matrix. The chondrules are of BO, RO, RP, PO, POP, GO, GOP and minor CC types. Chondrule mesostasis contains isotropic glass. Olivine has sharp optical extinction. Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: Olivine Fa16.5±5.8 (N=25); PMD Fa=35.4%; pyroxene Fs8.7±6.0 Wo0.9±0.7 (N=22) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
