Classification: Martian meteorite (Shergottite)

Petrography: The meteorite is a cumulate poikilitic rock with large pyroxene oikiocrysts (up to 6 mm across) and smaller olivine chadocrysts (up to 0.8 mm across). Non-poikilitic sections are composed of non zoned olivine grains with less abundant plagioclase glass between grains. Accessoary minerals include phosphates (merrillite, apatite), chromite and spinels (as inclusions in pyroxene and olivines respectively), sulfides and potassium rich glass. Igneous texture is similar to poikilitic shergottites NWA 1950 and NWA 7397.

Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: Olivine (Fa35.2±1.0; FeO/MnO = 48.8±1.8), pigeonite (Fs24.5±0.8Wo9.3±1.6; FeO/MnO = 30.5±1.9), augite (Fs16.5±1.5Wo34.4±4.6; FeO/MnO = 29.5±1.9). Maskelynite An51.5-58.5 Or1.1-1.8.
