Macroscopic Description - Cecilia Satterwhite

50% black fusion crust; areas without area gray in color and a few light/dark inclusions are visible. The interior is a gray matrix with light/dark specks visible.

Thin Section Description (,,2) - Cari Corrigan, Tim McCoy

The sections consist of large (up to 1.5 mm), well-defined chondrules in a matrix of finer-grained silicates, sulfides, and abundant magnetite grains. The meteorites are minimally weathered, but extensively shock blackened. Silicates are homogeneous. Olivine is Fa_30-31 and pyroxene is Fs_11-25Wo_1-39. The meteorites are CK5 chondrites and are likely paired.
