Purchased: 2007

Classification: Primitive achondrite (Winonaite)

History: The meteorite was purchased from a local meteorite dealer in Erfoud, Morocco.

Physical characteristics: Brownish fragment without fusion crust.

Petrography: The meteorite shows a granoblastic texture with abundant triple junctions composed of 50-300 µm sized forsteritic olivine, enstatite, augite, and sodic plagioclase grains. Accessories are troilite and kamacite. Grain boundaries are frequently decorated with iron oxides and -hydroxides.

Geochemistry: olivine: Fa_4.2±0.1(Fa_4.2-4.3, FeO/MnO=24±2, n=5); low-Ca pyroxene: Fs_6.3±0.1Wo_1.6±0.1(Fs_6.1-6.5Wo_1.5-1.7, FeO/MnO=26±4, n=5); Ca-pyroxene: Fs_2.4±0.1Wo_44.8±0.3(Fs_2.2-2.5Wo_44.2-45.1, FeO/MnO=18±7, n=5); feldspar: An_8.1±1.0Ab_89.8±0.9Or_2.0±0.3, n=10
