Find: Nov 2018

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~4)

History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from the finder Tailu Zhao (Shanshan County, Xinjiang) in Shanshan/Xinjiang in 2018. Discovered in Nov 2018.

Physical characteristics: Black, irregularly shape stone of 58.4 g with rusty surface

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) brown, recrystallized matrix, with well-developed chondrules (0.3-1 mm, av. 0,8 mm), completely oxidized metal and sulfide. Vugs are mostly filled with iron-hydroxides and sulfates.

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.56

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~4, W5)

Specimens: 13.9 g on deposit at Kiel, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 7 g with Bart.
