Northwest Africa 13794 (NWA 13794) ~31°05’N, ~3°57’W

Centre-South, Morocco

Find: 2010

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~6)

History: Discovered by Ait Kabboura Imad close to Merdane in 2010

Physical characteristics: One 610 g dark brown stone with some fusion crust and brown-olive interior cut face.

Petrography: Indistinct chondrules up to 1 mm set in a strongly recrystallized matrix with melt veins metal and sulfide

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10^-9 m³/kg) = 4.59

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~6, W2)

Specimens: 21.5 g on deposit at Kiel, Ait Kabboura Imad (Liege/B) holds the main mass, and 49 g with Bart.
