Y982003 and Y982004
Acapulcoite One third of the section is Fe-metal, and the other is silicate. Silicate portion of these sections shows a granular texture (~100-300 μm) composed of olivine, pyroxene, and minor plagioclase. Silicate minerals in many cases contain fine droplets of troilite. Mineral compositions are olivine: Fa7.4-9.9; pyroxene Fs7.1-10.1; plagioclase (An14.6-16.2). | ||||||||||||||||||||
