Carpenter, WUSL) Protogranular aggregate (mean grainsize ~400 µm) of predominantly olivine and orthopyroxene with subordinate diopside and altered kamacite (~15 vol.%), plus accessory chromite and merrillite. Secondary goethite is present along grain boundaries. Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa10.9±1.4, range Fa8.4-12.2, FeO/MnO = 22-24, N = 8), orthopyroxene (Fs11.1-11.3Wo1.6-3.2, FeO/MnO = 13-14, N = 4), diopside (Fs4.3-4.7Wo44.0-45.5, FeO/MnO = 8-9, N = 4). Magnetic susceptibility log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.80. Classification: Acapulcoite.
