Wubao 004 42°09’23.65"N, 92°51’59.90"E Xinjiang, China Find: 2019 Oct 2 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3) Physical characteristics: A single stone. Cut face reveals abundant large chondrules, metal and sulfides. Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Chondrite with packed large well-delineated chondrules. Opaques are metal and trolite. Geochemistry: Olivine Fa26.4±9.0, range Fa10.6-34.2, Fa PMD 29.6%, Cr2O3 0.09±0.10 wt% (n=7). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs14.1±9.5Wo2.0±2.1 (n=3). Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3). LL group based on magnetic susceptibility. Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Lei Wenchang and Feng Lijun. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
