Dunlike 003 39°36’16.67"N, 89°31’19.54"E Xinjiang, China Find: Nov 2018 Classification: H~3 History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from Tailu Zhao (Shanshan County, Xinjiang) in Shanshan (Xinjiang) in 2018. This meteorite was discovered in the Hongliugou, Haitou area, in Nov. 2018. Physical characteristics: brown stone of 26.9 g without fusion crust Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) brown, rusty matrix, with well-defined chondrules (0.2-1.4 mm, av. ~0.6 mm), and completely oxidized metal and sulfide. Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.98 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~3, W5) Specimens: 6.7 g on deposit at Kiel, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 4 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
