This carbonaceous chondrite has a small purplish patch of fusion crust on the exterior surface. The interior has white to gray chondrules £ 1 mm in size. The matrix is black, soft and powdery.
Thin Section (, 3) Description: Tim McCoy, Linda Welzenbach
This section consists of small chondrules (up to 0.8 mm), aggregates and mineral grains in a black matrix. Olivine compositions range from Fa0-49, with most Fa0-1. Low-Ca pyroxene is Fs1-5. The matrix is composed dominantly of Fe-rich serpentine. The meteorite is a CM2 chondrite.
