Roach Dry Lake 030 Clark County, NV, USA Found 5/5/2002 Enstatite Chondrite (EL6) A single, fusion-crusted and oriented stone, weighing 10.13 g, was found by R. Matson. Classification (A. Rubin, UCLA): EL6, S2, W4. Mean Fs = 0.5 mole%. EL6 classification is based on chondrule size and overall texture. Metal and sulfide compositions are not available because these phases have been heavily weathered. Specimens: type specimen, 3.19 g, UCLA, main mass with finder [RMatson]. | ||||||||||||||||
