Northwest Africa 13133 (NWA 13133) (Northwest Africa) Find: unknown Classification: Enstatite chondrite (EL6) History: Purchased by Wei Jiang in 2018 from Morocco. Physical characteristics: Many fragments are severly weathered. The masses of the individual fragments are in a range of 20 to 300 g. The total mass is ~90 kg. Petrography: (J. Ji, S. Hu and Y. Lin, IGGCAS) One relict chondrule was found, ~3 mm in diameter. The meteorite is mainly composed of enstatite, with minor albite, daubreelite, silica, troilite, and kamacite. Most metal grains are oxidized. Some kamacite grains less than 10 mm are found in enstatite. Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: (J. Ji, S. Hu and Y. Lin, IGGCAS) Enstatite Fs0.5±0.2En98.1±0.3Wo1.4±0.1 (n=23), Plagioclase An15.3±0.6Ab80.7±0.7(n=5), kamacite contains ~1 wt% silicon Classification: (J. Ji, S. Hu and Y.
