The exterior of this meteorite is smooth and brown. The interior is a rusty, dark matrix with small (<0.5 mm) rusty yellow chondrules visible.
Thin Section (,2) Description: Tim McCoy
The section consists of an aggregate of small chondrules (most less than 0.5 mm), chondrule fragments and pyroxene grains set in a highly-weathered matrix of abundant troilite, with minor niningerite, metal and schreibersite. Enstatite compositions are somewhat variable (Fs0-6), with most being Fs0-1. Metal contains ~2.5 wt. % Si. The meteorite is an enstatite chondrite, probably EH3.
