La Banderia

Zacatecas, Mexico

Found 1986

Stone. Ordinary chondrite (LL5)

A stone of 54.3 g was found in the open desert near the village La Banderia. Classification, R. Whitlock, analysis, olivine Fa31.8, highly shocked (shock facies e), James C. Clark, both at Center for Meteorite Studies, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ 85281, USA, where also the main mass is located.
