Writeup from MN J15(1):
A-881902 The section shows a fine-grained (30-200 μm) equigranular texture composed of olivine and pyroxene (low-Ca pyroxene and diopside) and FeNi-FeS. There are several relict chondrules. Olivine composition is Fa7.8-9.7. Pyroxene composition is Fs9.5Wo1.4 (average) and a FeO/MnO ratio of ~3. This meteorite is an acapulcoite. | ||||||||||||||||
