Northwest Africa 6502 (NWA 6502)

Classification: HED achondrite (Eucrite, monomict)

Petrography: Breccia (probably monomict) composed of cumulate eucritic clasts and debris. Exsolved pigeonite consisting of low-Ca pyroxene (FeO/MnO = 29-31) and high-Ca pyroxene (FeO/MnO = 28-31) plus calcic plagioclase, with accessory silica, Ti-chromite, ilmenite, and troilite.
