Northwest Africa 13397 (NWA 13397) Morocco Find: 2019 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3) Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Chondrite with well-delineated packed chondrules (average apparent diameter 940±430 μm, n=27). Opaques are Fe,Ni metal and troilite. Geochemistry: Olivine Fa18.9±7.5, range Fa3.3-25.8, Fa PMD 35%, Cr2O3 0.33±0.07 (n=10). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs14.4±7.9Wo0.9±0.7 (n=6). Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3). LL group based on chondrule size and magnetic susceptibility. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
