Algeria

Find: 2020

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3)

Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Chondrite with well-delineated, packed chondrules. Opaque minerals are metal and troilite.

Geochemistry: Olivine Fa11.3±6.1, range Fa4.7-19.4, Cr2O3 = 0.20±0.13 wt% (n=3). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs10.0±8.5Wo1.4±0.9, range Fs1.5-22.3 (n=7).

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3). L group based on magnetic susceptiblity.

Specimens: Type speciment at CEREGE. Main mass with Isabelle Pothier.
