Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL, melt rock)

History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from Hamza Lharbi in Guelmim in Apr. 2020.

Physical characteristics: (Ziyao Wang) 75 g gray-black stone with some fusion crust

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) chondrule relicts, olivine grains and metal-sulfide assemblages with rusty halos set in a recrystallized melt matrix (av. grain size 50 µm) dominated by olivine.

Geochemistry: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart, P. Appel and B. Mader, Kiel) Olivine Fa27.0-28.1 (n=16); low-Ca pyroxene Fs22.8-23.4Wo2.1-2.4 (n=2); Ca-pyroxene En67Fs19Wo14 (n=1); chromite CRAL=84-87, FFM=86-89; troilite, taenite. Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.50.

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL melt)

Specimens: 15.1 g on deposit at IfP, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 5.5 g with Bart.
