Rooikop 001-003 23°5.0'S, 14°42.9'E Walvis Bay, Namibia Found 1991 June Ordinary chondrites Three meteorites were found in a desert area near the border post Rooikop at the former Namibia-South Africa border by A. M. Reid, P. Jakes, M. E. Zolensky and R. McG. Miller. Details are listed in Table 3. Research specimen and information: A. M. Reid, Department of Geosciences, University of Houston, Houston, Texas 77204-5503, USA. The main masses remain at the Geological Survey of Namibia, 1 Jeans Street, P. O. Box 2168, Windhoek, Namibia.
