Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H5)

History: Single stone was found by Mr. A. Kasianov on a plowed field near the Leninskoe settlement.

Physical characteristics:The stone of 1832 g of total mass has angular shape and dark-brown surface.

Petrography: (C. A. Lorenz , Vernad) The meteorite has chondritic texture. It is composed of chondrules (BO, BP, RP, POP) and chondrule fragments deposited in recrystallized silicate matrix together with metal and sulfide grains. The matrix contains the mineral and chondrule fragments, interstitial to which are iron hydroxides. Most of metal and troilite grains have attached rims of Fe hydroxide or partially replaced by that.

Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and Geochemistry: (N. N. Kononkova, EPMA, Vernad.) Olivine Fa18.1±0.2 (N=5); orthopyroxene Fs16.5±0.1Wo1.2±0.2 (N=5)

Classification: Ordinary chondrite of the chemical group H, type 5 (S1, W3)

Specimens: A type specimen of 381.8 g and thin polished section are on deposit in Vernad. Main mass is on deposit in DMUH.
