Purchased: 2008 May

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3)

History: Purchased by Eric Twelker in May 2008 from a dealer in Agadir, Morocco.

Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and P. Carpenter, WUSL) Well-formed chondrules (apparent diameter 720±380 µm, N = 25) are set in a sparse, fine grained matrix containing altered metal.

Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa_22.9±11.2, range Fa_2.2-35.9, N = 11; Cr₂O₃ in ferroan olivine 0.01-0.09 wt.%, mean 0.04±0.03 wt.%, N = 5), low-Ca pyroxene (Fs_20.9±3.4Wo_1.9±1.2, range Fs_14.6-24.9Wo_0.3-3.2, N = 7), pigeonite (Fs_18.8Wo_9.3), subcalcic augite (Fs_21.7Wo_27.7; Fs_23.5Wo_34.2; N = 2), augite (Fs_14.8Wo_36.6), plagioclase (An_83.1Or_0.1). Magnetic susceptibility log χ (× 10^-9 m³/kg) = 4.29.

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL3).

Specimens: 21.2 g including one polished thin section at UWB; 21 g including one polished thin section at PSF; remainder with Mr. E. Twelker
