Northwest Africa 10513 (NWA 10513) Morocco Purchased: 2015 Dec Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L5, melt breccia) History: Purchased by Ke Zuokai in Dec. 2015 from a Moroccan dealer. Physical characteristics: One single stone. No fusion crust. Petrography: A few chondrules (size of 0.6-1.7 mm) are present. Most are porphyritic olivine and pyroxene chondrules. Part of the host is completely melted due to shock impact. Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa23.2-25.7), low-Ca pyroxene (Fs20.2-21.1Wo1.0-1.7). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
