Talrhaïcht 001 28°53’23"N, 8°44’50"W Morocco Find: 2020 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL6, melt breccia) Physical characteristics: Crusted stone. Cut surface reveals cm sized chondritic clast set in a black melt rock matrix. Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Clasts of highly recrystallized ordinary chondrite with some triple junctions and plagioclase to 200 µm set in a melt rock matrix. Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL6-melt breccia). Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Jérémy Bassemon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
