FALL OF THE BINNINGUP, AUSTRALIA, STONY METEORITE Name: BINNINGUP Place of fall: Binningup beach, near Bunbury, Western Australia, Australia 33°9'23"S., 115°40'35"E. Date of fall: September 30, 1984, 10.10 hours Class and type: Stone. Olivine-bronzite chondrite (H6). Olivine Fa18,5. Number of individual specimens: 1 Total weight: 488 g Circumstances of fall: After detonations and a brilliant fireball, which burst into four to six fragments before extinguishing, a single crusted individual fell on the beach at Binningup, approximately 20 m from the shore line.
