Bunjil Western Australia, Australia Found 1971 April/May Ordinary chondrite (L6, S4-5) Following ploughing, a broken, oriented, weathered (W2) mass weighing 38.75 kg was found in 1971 near Bunjil. Classification, analysis and information: olivine Fa25.1; orthopyroxene Fs21.6; heavily shocked, plagioclase partially converted to maskelynite; A. W. R. Bevan, Western Australian Museum, Perth, Western Australia 6000, Australia. The main mass is in the Western Australian Museum and may be paired with Latham (see, Meteoritical Bulletin, No. 74). | ||||||||||||||||
