DISCOVERY OF THE KINSELLA, CANADA, IRON METEORITE Name: KINSELLA Place of find: Midway between Minburn and Kinsella, Alberta, Canada, 400 m S. of Echo Lake. 53°12'N., 111°26'W. Date of find: 1946 May. Class and type: Iron. Medium octahedrite (IIIB). Number of individual specimens: 1 Total weight: 3.72 kg Circumstances of find: Found 20-30 cm below surface during deep ploughing by Mr. O. Hallor. Source: E.R.D. Scott, J.T. Wasson and R.W.
