Northwest Africa 13801 (NWA 13801) ~31°05’N, ~3°57’W Centre-South, Morocco Find: 2010 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL~6) History: Discovered by Ait Kabboura Imad close to Merdane in 2010 Physical characteristics: One brown fragment of 10.6 g Petrography: Indistinct chondrules of 0.4-1.2 mm set in a brown stainted strongly recrystallized matrix Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.23 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL~6, W4) Specimens: 2.2 g on deposit at Kiel, Ait Kabboura Imad (Liege/B) holds the main mass, and 1.3 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
