Found early 1960s

Ordinary chondrite (H4)

A 24 kg stone was found by a farmer in a wheat field, and used as a plow weight.  Mineralogy, classification and description (M. Zolen-sky, JSC; J. Martin, OML):  olivine, Fa21; pyroxene, Fs18; meteorite is significantly weathered; chondrules contain turbid plagioclase and glass; shock stage S2.  Specimens:  type specimen, 20 g, JSC; main mass, Reed.
