Purchased: June, 2021

Classification: HED achondrite (Eucrite)

History: The meteorite was purchased from a group of meteorite hunters in Nouadhibou, Mauritania in June, 2021.

Physical characteristics: Three fragments almost completly covered with fusion crust.

Petrography: The meteorite is an unbrecciated basalt showing intersertal texture with domains of recrystallized mesostasis. Main minerals are exsolved pyroxene and often lath-shaped calcic plagioclases. Minor phases are silica, chromite, ilmenite, Fes, and metallic iron.

Geochemistry: low-Ca pyroxene: Fs_57.8±0.3Wo_6.3±0.4(Fs_57.4-58.7Wo_5.3-6.7, n=12, FeO/MnO=29-32); Ca-pyroxene: Fs_29.8±0.2Wo_40.9±0.3(Fs_29.3-30.0Wo_40.5-41.4, n=11, FeO/MnO=31-36); calcic plagioclase: An_89.1±0.4(An_88.3-90.1, n=12)
