Sasagase       

Chubu, Japan

Fell: 16 Feb 1704

History: New research by Owada et al. (2014) shows that the fall date of the Sasagase meteorite was 16 Feb 1704 on the Gregorian calendar. This replaces the date of 13 Feb 1688 that was used previously in the Meteoritical Bulletin.
