Macroscopic Description: Kathleen McBride and Cecilia Satterwhite
These ordinary chondrites have dark brown to black fusion crust containing fractures, pits and oxidation haloes. The interiors are rusty brown/black with mm-sized chondrules.

These meteorites are so similar that a single description suffices, although MET 00607 was recovered ~2.5 km from the MET 00506 and MET 00552. The sections exhibit numerous small, well-defined chondrules (up to 2 mm) in a black matrix of fine-grained silicates, metal and troilite. Polysynthetically twinned pyroxene is extremely abundant. Weathering effects are pervasive. Olivines range from Fa_1-27 and pyroxenes from Fs_1-18. The meteorites are H3 chondrites (estimated subtype 3.4).
