Northwest Africa 13799 (NWA 13799) ~31°05’N, ~3°57’W Centre-South, Morocco Find: 2010 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~4) History: Discovered by Ait Kabboura Imad close to Merdane in 2010 Physical characteristics: One broken black-brown individual of 90.6 g with about 80% fusion crust Petrography: distinct chondrules of 0.2-1.2 mm (av. 0.6 mm) set in a brown matrix with black cloudy areas Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.78 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~4, W3) Specimens: 19.7 g on deposit at Kiel, Ait Kabboura Imad (Liege/B) holds the main mass, and 19 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
