Northwest Africa 13813 (NWA 13813) ~31°15’N, ~4°30’W Morocco Find: 2015 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~4) History: Discovered by Ait Kabboura Imad close to Taguerount in 2015 Physical characteristics: One brown fragment with some fusion crust of 15.3 g Petrography: distinct chondrules of 0.1-2 mm (av. 0.5 mm) set in a brown to dark gray matrix with metal and sulfide specks Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.98 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~4, W1) Specimens: 3.9 g on deposit at Kiel, Ait Kabboura Imad (Liege/B) holds the main mass, and 1.9 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
