Northwest Africa 13821 (NWA 13821) ~31°15’N, ~4°30’W Morocco Find: 2015 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~6) History: Discovered by Ait Kabboura Imad close to Taguerount in 2015 Physical characteristics: One dark brown fragment of 39.7 g Petrography: Indistinct chondrules set in a brown stainted matrix with metal and sulfide specks Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.95 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~6, W2) Specimens: 8.6 g on deposit at Kiel, Ait Kabboura Imad (Liege/B) holds the main mass, and 4 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
