The place of fall or discovery: Cape Province, South Africa; φ = 30°59' S, λ = 23°47' E. Date of fall or discovery: ? Class and type: IRON, coarse octahedrite. Number of individual specimens: 1. Total weight: 28 kg. Circumstances of the fall or discovery: The meteorite has been in the possession of its owner, Mr. C. J. DeJager for some 35 years. It is part of a larger mass which has never been located. Mr. DeJager donated the major portion to the Geological Survey of South Africa. Source: Report of Dr. M. F.
