Shackleton Range, Antarctica

Found 1988

Iron. Octahedrite, medium (1.1 mm) (IIIA).

A single mass weighing 3480 g was found on the summit of Mount Wegener; classification, analysis, 8.1% Ni, 20.9 ppm Ga, 33 ppm Ge, 3.96 ppm Ir, L. Schultz et al., Meteoritics, 1989, 24, p. 324.
