Akyumak Akyumak village, East Anatolia; Turkey Fell 2 August 1981, 1530-1600 hr Iron. Octahedrite, medium (0.32 mm) (IVA). A mass of between 45 and 50 kg fell, with associated light and sound effects, making an impact pit 50 cm in diameter and about 90 cm deep.
