Chug Chug 090 22°29.52’S, 69°11.22’W Antofagasta, Chile Find: 2018 Oct 21 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3) Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Chondrite with packed well-defined chondrules with average apparent diameter 850±390 µm (n=32). Opaque are metal and sulfides (almost entirely replaced by terrestrial weathering products). Geochemistry: Olivine Fa25.1±2.0, range Fa22.0-26.9, Fa PMD 7.6%, Cr2O3 0.04±0.01 wt.% (n=7). Low-Ca pyroxene Fs16.8±5.9Wo1.0±1.1 (n=6). Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L3) Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with K. Rybka | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
