Northwest Africa 13392 (NWA 13392) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: 2020 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL5-6) History: The meteorite was purchased from a meteorite dealer in Tindouf, Algeria. Physical characteristics: Brownish rock partly covered with fusion crust. Petrography: Chondritic breccia composed of up to 1.5 cm sized LL6-type fragments (plagioclase grain size is about 80 µm) set into LL5-type matrix (plagioclase grain size is about 30 µm). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
